Ramat Bet Shemesh is located approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Jerusalem. It is a safe and friendly city that is the fastest growing religious community in Israel. It's close proximity to Yerushalayim makes it a popular choice. It's residents are all Jewish with 40% of it's residents being English speakers. Ramat Bet Shemesh is a religious community with a mix of religious streams. Tiferet is located in a predominantly modern-Orthodox area in the community.
Ramat Bet Shemesh is a short 40 minute drive from Jerusalem. There are many ways to travel to Jerusalem. The direct bus to Jerusalem has a stop only seconds away from our campus. A sherut or van service can also be arranged for pick up and drop off from our doorstep. In addition, there is a train station in Bet Shemesh with trains travelling to Jerusalem and reaching most cities in Israel.
Tiferet is a 2 minute walk away from the Park Center shopping mall which includes a large supermarket with a large selection of American products, dry cleaning, doctor's and dentist's offices, pharmacy, a bank machine, spa, Holy Bagel restaurant and frozen yogurt. Ten minutes away is the Merkaz which has lots of different shops, restaurants and services available.
