On our first day back from Sukot vacation, we travelled to the Galil.  Our first stop was Kfar Giladi where we paid tribute to the founders of Hashomer, the grandfather of the IDF.  We also paid our respects to the 12 soldiers who were killed by a Hezbollah attack in 2006.  We spoke about how important it is to appreciate the sacrifice of earlier generations and our soldiers.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a hike in the beautiful Tel Dan Reserve.  From there, we drove north to Metulla where we had fun at ice-skating and iJump at the Canada Center.  We ended our day with a boat ride around the Kinneret with dinner and dancing.  It was the perfect way to return from the break.
