On Shabbat Parshat Veyechi, we spent Shabbat in the holy city of Tveriya. On Friday, we visited the Dona Gracia Museum to learn about this fascinating personality from Jewish History. We then went to the Maimonides Heritage Center, to explore the history and significance of the Rambam.
On Shabbat, we were joined by Rav Simcha Hochbaum, whose stories and divrei Torah brought the holy city of Tveriya to life.
Finally, on Motzaei Shabbat, we went on a nighttime cruise on the Kineret, with melave malka and dancing, ending a great Shabbaton with tremendous ruach!
