This week our students returned from their very meaningful trip to Poland. Our students visited the Warsaw, Tarnow and Krakow ghettos. They learned all about Jewish life in Poland before the holocaust. They also visited the death camps of Majdanek, Belzec, Treblinka and Auschwitz. They learned about the trials and tribulations of our ancestors during the holocaust years. They also learned about the tremendous emunah of the Jewish nation during these terrible times and the sacrifices Jews made for each other even when they had everything taken away from them by the Germans.
All the Tiferet students were inspired from all the stories that they heard and from actually seeing the death camps with their own eyes. We know that our students will continue the legacy passed down to us from all those who died al Kiddush Hashem and continue to live their lives dedicated towards serving Hashem.
