On Wednesday January 5th, our students had a morning of Torah and Chesed. First we visited the Biblical Museum of Natural History, where we had a guided tour of this amazing "Torah U'mada" institution. It is always a tremendous learning experience to see the interface between Torah and science with such clarity. Afterwards, our students prepared and decorated cupcakes, to be delivered to our chayalim, who are protecting all of Eretz Yisrael in this difficult time. The cup cakes were delivered to chayalim in Kever Rochel, and also at various checkpoints surrounding the Jerusalem area. The soldiers were so appreciative to the students of Tiferet. We consider it our privilege to give back to them and show our hakarat hatov in even this simple way.
