Bet Midrash

An important goal for your year in Israel is to gain better learning skills to become more independent in your Torah studies. What better way to attain skills than by learning one-on-one with your teachers. Every Tiferet teacher has chavrutot with students. Some teachers have over 30 chavrutot with individual students. With our teachers living only minutes away from Tiferet, coming back to learn with our students is easy and an amazing opportunity for the students.

There are 4 Bet Midrash options during the weekly schedule. Students are welcome to learn on their own, with their peers or with teachers. If you have any questions, teachers are always around to help you out.

In every Bet Midrash slot there are other options such as Ulpan, Beginner's Gemara, Advanced Gemara, Holocaust Studies and a Learning Skills Workshop. The Learning Skills Workshop is a class to teach you how to independently prepare divrei Torah.

After Night Seder at 9:30pm, our Bet Midrash is busy with students and teachers learning together until late at night. You will find Tiferet teachers learning with students in the Bet Midrash until well after midnight on any given night.

Our beautiful Bet Midrash with an awe-inspiring view of the Judean Hills and a vast library of sefarim in Hebrew and English provides a perfect environment to dedicate yourself to your learning.
