We were thrilled to greet our new Shana Alef students this week in Eretz Yisrael! We are excited to be spending the year together with a group of young women who are so motivated to learn and grow, and make the most of their year in Israel. On Monday, we met our incoming students in the airport, and brought them back to Tiferet for introductions and settling in. That evening, we went to the Kotel to daven and set the stage for the year to come. 

Our week was filled with programming designed to make our new students feel ready and comfortable in this new environment. This included Divrei Torah, introductions and ice-breakers. On Wednesday, our students hiked into the forest for Outdoor Training and Team Building exercises, to help them get to know each other and work together. Afterwards we came back to Beit Shemesh for a lavish barbecue in our local Park Yarmut.

The past few days have also been filled with sample classes by the amazing Tiferet teachers. Our students will have the opportunity to choose their own schedule, deciding which classes and shiurim work best for her as an individual.

We are looking forward to an uplifting Shabbat together - and to an inspiring year here in Tiferet!
