Tiferet began its Nisan programming for the many students who are remaining in Eretz Yisrael throughout this month. On Monday, Mrs. Schneider took our students to begin the month with tefillot at Kever Rachel. Afterwards they took a tour of the Belz shul, a beautiful opportunity to learn about a very different Jewish community.

On Wednesday, our students participated in a chesed opportunity with local tzedaka organization, Lemaan Achai, in the morning. Then we went to Beit Shemesh to bake our own Matzot with Rav Michael Bramson. It was a zchut to prepare for Pesach and participate in this great mitzvah.

On Thursday, our students went to Masada, hiking up and down the mountain, and learning about the significance of this unique historical site. Afterwards, we went for a quick trip to Yam Hamelach, before returning to Beit Shemesh!

The second week of vacation included an overnight trip to the Galil, where they stayed at the beautiful Kibutz Lavi Hotel. 

Many of our students celebrated their seder along with their Tiferet Rabbeim and teachers and throughout the chag, they spent many days and meals at our homes. It was a great vacation for everyone.
