Even though it is officially Nissan vacation, Tiferet is still open and taking care of our students. In the first week of Nissan vacation, our students participated in two optional extra Nisan tiyulim. On Monday, we visited the local stalactite caves, where we were amazed by their natural beauty. Afterwards, we went to the Kever of Dan ben Yaakov, for an inspirational visit and tefilla. On Wednesday, our students went to the Israel Museum, for a guided tour by our own Mrs. Schneider.
During the second week of Nissan vacation, our students visited the city of Ramla. They learned about the history of Ramla, visited the white tower and the Ramla shuk and even went boating underground. On Tuesday, the students were privileged to go Matza baking with Mrs. Hochhauser and to really learn how to bake matzas on their own. A fun time was had by everyone.
On Chol Hamoed, the Tiferet students visited the blind museum in Cholon, where they were able to experience for a short time how hard it really is to be someone who is blind. It was a very meaningful experience that left us feeling how lucky we are to be able to see each and every day.
